We’ll notify you of the next steps. If we’re not currently servicing your area, we have plans to and will reach out once we’re in your area.
Do I need Workers Compensation insurance?
Workers Compensation insurance is not required. However, if you do not provide proof of Workers Compensation coverage, JunkGurus will deduct $8 for every $100 paid to help offset increased insurance costs. Example: If you are paid $1,000 for a job, $80 would be deducted if you do not carry Workers Compensation coverage.
Do I need General Liability insurance?
General Liability is not required, but highly encouraged. If you provide proof of your own General Liability coverage, you qualify for higher payouts per job.
How often do I get paid?
Weekly. Pay Period: Wednesday through Tuesday Payout: Friday Example: Work completed between Wednesday and Tuesday is paid the following Friday.
Where do I dispose of items?
You are responsible for proper disposal at one of the following: • Donation centers • Recycling facilities • Resale / Keep • Approved local landfills When a job is completed, JunkGurus will help guide you to the nearest disposal location through the app. Always follow local regulations and JunkGurus guidelines.
Can I resell or keep items?
Yes, unless otherwise specified by the client. Resale or salvage is permitted as long as: • The job is completed properly • The property is left clean • All JunkGurus standards are met
